FEEDBACK AFTER AN OFSTED INSPECTION

Headteachers, staff and governors are invited to complete our online school inspection survey (SIS) following an inspection. Schools are informed about the survey in a letter which notifies the school of its inspection, and receive details about how to access the survey online when the final inspection report is sent to the school.

We greatly value responses from schools. These help keep me well-informed about the quality and impact of inspection, and also, guide our policy and delivery teams in reviewing and improving the inspection process. The post-inspection survey seeks schools' views on a range of issues, including the extent to which they felt able to engage with the inspection team. It also provides a national picture of schools' views about inspection generally. You might be interested to know that the SIS questions can be found on our website at:

I really would want to encourage all headteachers and governors to use the online SIS after their inspection.
