Activities

We work closely with Essex LA to:

• Promote and support high quality effective Governance in all schools;
• To oversee and support Governor recruitment
• To support governing bodies to navigate the strategic education landscape across Essex
• Share best practice in governance across all schools in Essex
• Facilitate effective governor training and development
• Work jointly with Essex LA with regard to supporting:
  • Termly Director’s Updates
  • Annual Conferences for all governors
  • Put in place representation on key strategic groups:
• Local Children’s Partnership Board
• Schools Forum including sub committees
• School Partnership Board
• Other strategic groups as required/requested
