Following on from our Annual Conference we were pleased to welcome the Head Teacher & Chair of Governors from Mayflower School relating their recent experience with the re-aligned framework of OFSTED inspections.

At a very well attended session The Head & Chair reflected with a slide presentation the key driving factors behind the OFSTED approach and how a school can influence outcomes by effective engagement by the whole community in selling your school effectively to obtain the best outcome.

Although still a stressful experience it was noted that OFSTED have taken major steps in focusing on the welfare of the whole school whilst trying to ascertain a full judgement of educational outcomes for the students.
